《摩斯探长前传》第三季确定于2016年1月在ITV播出。新季将以1967年为背景，剧情承接第二季结尾，依旧由Shaun Evans和Roger Allam联合主演，Russell Lewis担任编剧，摩斯探长系列小说作者Colin Dexter担任顾问。本季四集的标题分别为《旅程》、《桃源》、《狩猎》、《终曲》。。尚且在筹备阶段的维姆·文德斯新片《The Beautiful Days of Aranjuez》已成戛纳香饽饽，交易市场上意大利、巴西、希腊都已超前买下发行权。影片剧本由与文德斯合作《柏林苍穹下》的彼得·汉德克撰写，故事讲述一对男女在夏日傍晚分享彼此对于爱与自由的看法。影片将于6月份开始制作。。June and Oscar are a married couple who live a comfortable-but-predictable life in suburban California.
