故事以纪录片的方式展开，一队纪录片摄制组采访了一位深居简出的疯人画家，但之后他们发现这位疯子似乎人间蒸发了，而他们这部纪录片成为解谜的关键。而片尾疯子那句“我们到底谁才是疯子？”令人颇感神秘。。Simone inherits a dilapidated farmhouse in France and makes her way there with her husband Eric and their two children. Her dream is to turn the house into a bed and breakfast but as the hectic pace of the rebuilding gets underway, she gets caught up in the romance and chaos of it all.
