该剧以1928年上海的黄浦江为背景，讲述了一群英雄狭义的感人事迹，剧中巍子扮演的上海大亨，其义女汪若诗一位从法国留学归来的富家千金，得知父亲死于非命，只身一人来到上海，进入义父家中，暗自查找杀父仇人，无意间惊觉真实内幕，且与杀父仇人上演了一段虐心的旷世英雄恋，整部戏以汪若诗与仇人、义父的情感纠葛贯穿始末。。This is Alanis Obomsawin's most recent film documenting the Oka crisis (1990)in Quebec. Now a decade later Obomsawin takes the camera to the people of the Mohawk reserve of Kahnawake to recount their experiences and how its affected their lives.
