故事发生在彩玉大学的理科研究室内，冰室菖蒲（雨宫天配音）和雪村心夜（内田雄马配音）是在这里工作的两名研究生。某日，让心夜没有想到的是，自己竟然收到了菖蒲的告白。所为万事以科学为上的理科研究生，对于爱情自然也要用符合逻辑的证据去证伪，为了证明菖蒲对自己的爱确有其事有迹可循，心夜带领着整个实验室开始了对爱的实验。 每天都像佣人一样被使唤来使唤去的解说员奏言叶（原奈津子配音）、性格反复无常，过于以自我为中心的棘田惠那（大森日雅配音）、表面看来是个不良少年，实际上却是个死宅的犬饲虎辅（福岛润配音），陪着菖蒲和心夜进行爱情实验的是这些可爱的研究员们。。A family comedy told through the seperate stories of different family members.。When a casino owning dog named Charlie is murdered by his rival Carface, he finds himself in Heaven basically by default since all dogs go to heaven. However, since he wants to get back at his killer, he cons his way back to the living with the warning that doing that damns him to Hell. Once back, he teams with his old partner, Itchy to prep his retaliation. He also stumbles on to an orphan girl who can talk to the animals, thus allowing him to get the inside info on the races to ensure his wins。
